丝丝寒风，没有吹冷我们火热的心;初冬暖阳，却已点亮了我们心灵的色彩!伴随着深秋的步伐，我们迎来了淮安外国语学校滨河校区第六届英语文化节。

有一种感动，常在心中，那就是生命!有一种温暖，常在心中，那就是感恩!我们本届英语文化节的主题就是——赞美生命，感恩常在!

Distinguished teachers and dear students,

Good morning!

The cold wind can’t freeze our fiery heart while the warm sun in such cold weather has lit up our heart. With the pace of late autumn, we ushered in the sixth English Culture Festival of Binhe Campus of Huaian Foreign Language School.

The feeling in people’s heart that always make them touched is called the life! There is a kind of warmth called gratitude! The theme of this year’s English culture festival is—praise life and keep gratitude in mind!

衔着生命的橄榄枝，弹奏着感恩的五线谱，我们走进英语节。“英语节”是一方宽广的舞台，给了每一位同学一展才华的空间;“英语节”是一串沉甸甸的收获，每一个单词里都满载着同学们辛勤的耕耘；“英语节”是一曲快乐的交响乐，将学习与成长演奏成了快乐的音符;“英语节” 更是一份冬天里的温暖，让我们每个人都感受到生命的快乐与美好！

本届英语节将历时一个月。同学们，我相信这短暂的一个月时间，将会把你们带进五彩缤纷的世界。英语手抄报制作大赛是你展示创意的舞台；英语作文竞赛是你挥洒灵感的天空；英语书写比赛是你挥舞笔墨的圣地。

Holding the branch of life, playing the staff of gratitude, we usher in the English Festival. "English Festival" is a broad stage, giving every student a space to show their talents.  "English Festival" is a string of heavy harvest, every word is full of students' hard work; "English Festival" is a happy symphony. Learning and growth are played into a happy note; "English Festival" is also a kind of warmth in winter, making each of us feel the happiness and beauty of life!

The English Festival will last for one month. I believe that it will bring you into the colorful world. English handwritten newspaper making contest is the stage for you to show your creativity; English composition contest is the sky of your inspiration; English writing contest is the holy place.

当我们回眸曾走过的岁月，是否会想起那些经典的英文电影?周末小休时光，我们将欣赏到原声英文电影，在光怪陆离的电影世界里，享受无穷的快乐!课间时分，是否会想起那些好听的英文歌曲？英语广播将陪伴着我们，为我们献上英文歌曲大餐；

在英语单词的世界里，我们可以发现那灵动的奥秘，不一样的字母组合在一起就会有不一样的奥秘，快来参加单词竞赛吧!在英语阅读的长廊里，我们会被那些暖暖的文字感动，那些精彩的故事吸引，快来参加英语阅读比赛吧!

where you wave your ink. When we look back at the past years, will we think of those classic English films? During the weekend, we will enjoy the original English movie. We can enjoy endless happiness in the colourful world of movies! During the break, will you think of those nice English songs? English radio will accompany us and serve us a feast of English songs;

In the world of English words, we can find the mystery. Different letters combined together will have different mysteries, so come to take part in the word contest! When we are reading, we will be moved by those warm words and be attracted by those wonderful stories. So come to take part in the English reading competition!

精彩的剧本，精致的情节，经典的造型，精湛的演技，让你十足过一把瘾，当一回导演或主角，快来参加英语课本剧表演大赛吧！元旦来临之际，我们还将举办第六届英语节暨“庆元旦·迎新年”文艺晚会，期待你会是最耀眼的明星!

亲爱的同学们，在英语单词的世界里，每一个字母都有着一双彩色的翅膀，知识的奇葩魔术般的绽放，单词竞赛就像乘着翅膀在飞翔，你会发现灵动的奥秘!

在英语阅读的长廊里，每一篇故事都藏出一朵暖暖的花蕊，深邃的思想璀璨般的兴替，阅读比赛就像乘着春风在盛开，你会听见花开的声音!

在英语节汇演舞台上，每一个音符都荡起一首收获的欢歌，智慧的蓓蕾群星般的闪烁，文艺汇演就像一本温馨的相册，它会记录成长的足迹!

亲爱的同学们，快来吧！牵起同学的手，告诉他，生命的珍贵;牵起老师的手，告诉他，感恩的温暖;牵起每个人的手，大声呼喊——英语节，我来了!

Why not take part in the English drama performance competition？New Year's Day is coming, we will also hold the sixth New Year's Day Gala at the end of December. We expect you to be the most dazzling star!

Dear students ，In the world of English words, every letter has a couple of colorful wings.  The word competition is like flying on wings, and you will find the mystery of it!

While we are reading, we will find there is always a warm flower core hidden in each story. Reading competition is like riding in the spring breeze in full bloom, you will hear the sound of flowers!

On the stage of the English Festival, every note is a harvest song, and the fruit of wisdom twinkle like stars. The art show is like a warm photo album, which will record the footprints of growth！

Dear students, come on! Hold the classmate's hand and tell him about the precious life. Take the teacher's hand and tell him about the warmth of gratitude. Let’s repeat “English Festival, we are coming!”
