尊敬各位老师、亲爱的同学们：

大家好! 今天我国旗下讲话的主题是《向国旗敬礼，为祖国点赞》。

再过5天，我们伟大的祖国就将迎来她的73岁生日。73年的风雨历程，73年的沧桑巨变，我们的祖国从百废待兴走向欣欣向荣，从贫穷落后走向繁荣富强。今天我们全体师生在这里举行这庄严而又隆重的升旗仪式。我们为这一庄严的时刻而自豪，我们因肃然于国旗前而激动。

Dear teachers and students,

Hello everyone! The theme of my speech today is "Saluteto the national flag, praisefor the motherland ".

Five days later, our motherland will celebrate her seventy-third birthday.After seventy-three years of ups and downs, great changes have taken place in our country. Our motherland has gone from a waste of time to prosperity, from poverty to strength.Today, all our teachers and students are here to attend the solemn and grand flag-raising ceremony. We are proud[praʊd] of the moment, and we are excited to stand before the flag.

仰望长空，历史的星光依然闪烁!我们的祖国古老而伟大，我们的祖国壮丽而永生!蔡伦纸上书写着她的智慧，指南针上旋转着她的方向，刀光剑影下她一次次回归和平，精神劫难中又一次次积薪自焚，重获新生。为了祖国的成长，无数人前仆后继，呕心沥血，为了祖国的富强又有多少人燃尽了自己的生命和青春!

1949年的十月一日，我们的祖国振翅一飞，再度冲上云霄，向全世界发出了最为雄健豪壮的声音：“中国人民从此站起来了”巨人的呐喊，震荡寰宇，让群山回应，大海回波。那猎猎飘扬的五星红旗正如一团跳动不息的火焰，那么炽烈，灼烧着每一双眼睛，震撼着每一颗心灵。

Looking up at the sky, the stars of history are still shining! Our motherland is ancientand great, our motherland is magnificent and immortal! Cai Lun writes her wisdom on the paper, her direction is revolvin on the compass, and under the shadow of swords , she returns to peace again and again.She is reborn after going through the disasters. For the growth of the motherland, countless people have worked hard and burned  their lives and youth for the prosperityof the motherland!

On the first of October 1949, our motherland flew out and rushed to the sky again, sending out the most heroic voice to the world: "The Chinese people have stood up from now on." The giant's cry shakes the world and makes the mountains respond, the sea echoes. The flying five-star red flag is like a beatingflame, burning every pair of eyes and shaking every heart .

我们的祖国从建国到现在一直在不断进步，不断上升，虽然没有惊涛骇浪， 但有一种排山倒海的气势在起伏，有一种雷霆万钧的力量在激荡! 2022北京冬奥会成功举办，神舟十三号载人飞船完成全部任务并返回地球，神州十四号载人飞船成功进入预定轨道等等，我们再一次向世界证明了，梦想有多远就能走多远。

少年强则国强，青少年的理想信念精神状态综合素质，是一个国家发展活力的重要体现，也是一个国家核心竞争力的重要因素。我们是新时代的中学生，更是二十一世纪的接班人。那光辉的名字使每一个炎黄子孙为之鼓舞!那不屈的精神使每一个中国人为之自豪!那雄浑的声音使每颗灼热的中国心为之振奋!我们要努力拼搏奋发向上，接受当今时代更猛烈的挑战!

Our motherland has been progressing and rising since the foundingof the People's Republic of China. Although there is no stormy waves, there is an overwhelming momentum rising and falling, and there is a powerful force surging! The 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics was successfully held , the Shenzhou 13 manned spaceship finished all its tasks and returned to the earth, the Shenzhou 14 manned spaceship successfully entered the scheduled orbit. We have once again proved[p'ru:vd] to the world that we can go as far as our dream is.

The country is strong when young people are strong.The comprehensivequality of the young people is an important embodiment of the vitality of a country's development.It is also an important factor  of a country's corecompetitiveness .We are the middle school students in the new era, and we are also the successorsof the 21st century .That glorious name inspires] every Chinese people! That unyieldingspirit makes every Chinese proud! That mighty voice inspires every burning Chinese heart! We should work hard and take on the more fierce challenges !
