大家上午好！今天我国旗下讲话的题目是《在书香中快乐成长》。

同学们，如果我问你“书是什么味道”你会怎样回答呢？你可能会想:书怎么会有味道，如果有味道，也是苦的，因为“学海无涯苦作舟”。纵观历史，你会发现古今中外凡是有大成就者无不酷爱读书。

因为喜欢读书，司马迁写成52万余字的《史记》，成了中国汉代伟大的史学家和文学家;因为喜欢读书，陈景润自学成才，摘取了数学皇冠上的明珠，成为赫赫有名的数学家;因为喜欢读书，爱迪生由一个小学一年级都没有读完的农民的儿子，成了世界闻名的发明大王;因为喜欢读书，因为把别人休息的时间都用来读书和写作，鲁迅先生一生译注了一千多万字的作品，成了我国伟大的思想家和文学家。

Good morning, everyone! The topic of today's speech is Growing up Happily in Books. 

Students, what would you say if I asked you what the flavour of the book is? You may think: how can a book taste? if it could be tasted, it's bitter, because "learning is very hard and boundless". Throughout history, you will find that people who have made great achievements at home and abroad all love reading.

Because he likes reading, Sima Qian wrote a more than 520,000-word Historical Records, which became a great Chinese historian and writer in the Han Dynasty; because he liked reading, Chen Jingrun become talented through self-study and took the lead in Maths. Because he liked reading, Edison who did not finish his first grade of a primary school as the son of a farmer became the world-famous inventor. Because he liked reading, because he made good use of his rest time which others didn’t to read and write. Mr. Lu Xun translated more than 10 million words of works throughout his life, becoming a great thinker and writer in China.

大量的阅读所产生的功效是显而易见的，把读书作为自己的追求目标,丰富学识,陶冶情操,促进自己的全面发展。从爱书开始,培养读书的兴趣,养成爱护书、爱读书的好习惯。为了深入建设我们的书香校园,老师向全体同学提出如下建议：

1.备好一本书。每个月同学们都要精心准备一本自己喜欢、有益的好书，放在书包里,随时供自己阅读。

2.读好几本书。每个学生在这个学期内至少读完五本好书。

3.做好一件事。这件事指的是做读书笔记和读书摘记。读书笔记可以提高同学们的鉴赏水平，读书摘记可以提高同学们的写作能力。同学们要像蜜蜂采蜜般从书籍中吮吸知识，大量阅读书籍、摘录好词好句、记录自己的阅读随想。

4.捐一到两本好书。慷慨捐出你已经阅读过的好书，充实班级图书角和学校读书吧，与同学共享读书的乐趣。

The effect of much reading is obvious. we should love reading! we should take reading as our pursuit goal, enrich your knowledge and cultivate sentiment to promote your all-round development. Start with loving books to cultivate interest in reading and form the good habit of loving books and reading. In order to build our incense campus in depth, the teacher makes the following suggestions to all the students:

First, keep a book well. Every month, students should carefully prepare a good book they like and useful, put them in their schoolbags, and read them for themselves at any time.                    

Second, read several books. Each student is supposed to complete at least five good books this term.

Third, only do one thing well. This refers to taking reading notes and reading abstracts. Reading notes can improve students' appreciation, and reading abstracts can improve students' writing ability. Students should suck knowledge from books like bees harvesting honey, read books in large quantities, extract good words and sentences, and record their own reading thoughts.

Fourth, Donate one to two good books. Generously donate the good books you have read, enrich the class book corner and school reading bar, and share the fun of reading with your classmates.

古人云:“腹有诗书气自华”，这就说明，一个人不可能改变他的容颜，但可以通过读书改变他的精神气质。书籍点亮人生，书香飘逸生活，书籍可以让人气质华美。让我们把读书作为一种生活习惯，让读书成为一种生命需求，让迷人的书香飘溢在我们的校园，让我们在书香中快乐成长。

The ancients said, “Those who read many poetries have much temperament” which shows that a person can't change his face, but can change his spiritual temperament through reading. Books can light up life, books can make life easy and elegant, and books can make people have a gorgeous temperament. Let's take reading as a living habit, let’s take reading become a life need, let’s make the charming incense of books float on our campus, and let us grow up happily in the fragrance of books.
